End of Season Info
We are coming to the end of the 2026 season at Shamrock and we hope you have all had a good summer here! The pool will close on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at 9:00 PM. There are a few things I wanted to inform you about.
You may have noticed recently the varying degrees of “out of order” signs at the lower pool bathrooms. This was due to a diaper being flushed down one of the toilets. It created a dam of sorts in the main discharge line that goes to the septic tank. This proved to a very, very costly problem to correct, so please place diapers or pads of any kind in to one of the trash cans in the bathroom.
On to more enjoyable topics. There are a ton of goggles and pool toys that have been left at the pool over the course of summer. We have been accumulating them and they are now in a bin at the check in table. These are all free and first come first serve. Please help yourselves! There is also all manner of clothing items in our lost and found, along with sunglasses, jewelry, etc. that will be donated at the end of the season. Please check the lost and found for any items that you might be missing.
The remaining drinks will be reduced down to $1.50 from $2.00, so stock up on any of the drinks that you might want to have at home. This is a very good price for to go bottled drinks.
Hopefully you have been able to enjoy the renewed tennis courts! We have had lots of positive feedback. Members can continue to use the courts. The hours it will be open and available will loosely be 9 until dark. This may change and there may be a time when the courts are locked up; but that is something we will update you on when the time comes. J.P. Batista will continue giving tennis and pickleball lessons, so check out his website for all of that information.
Please remember that membership renewal emails ALWAYS go out on or around March 1st. Deadline for renewing is March 25th. If you do not see an email within the first few days of March 2027, please let us know right away. Do not wait until after the deadline to tell us you didn't get an email. If your email address should change, please let us know prior to March. Please also be sure to check your spam/junk/promotions/clutter folder on a regular basis, especially when expecting something important.

Opening and Closing Dates
The pools will open Friday, May 22, 2026 at 10:00 AM. The pools will close on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at 9:00 PM. For the daily schedule see the Home page.
Pool Closures
The Lower Pool will be closed on the dates of home swim meets. The Upper Pool will be closed during swim team practices. The management reserves the right to close the pool at any time before, during and after inclement weather. Please call the pool at (706) 769-4655 or check our Facebook page to see if the pool is closed.
